Welcome to another Agents of Game merit badge guide for Fallout 76! The swimmer Tadpole badge is one of the easier ones to get to unlock your Possum rank (for the initial backpack unlock), or to get some extras from the Scout Store. Before we get into specific tips, here is the short list of requirements for the badge.
- Pass “Swimmer” knowledge exam at an exam terminal
- Complete the Pioneer Scouts swimming test at Spruce Knob Lake (requires a swimsuit)
- Revive another player while in the water
- Take a camera picture of “Crocolossus Mountain” at Wavy Willard’s Water Park
- Take a camera picture of “Ssslither Slide” at Wavy Willard’s Water Park
- Take a camera picture of “Wavy Waves” at Wavy Willard’s Water Park
If you’re looking for the full list of questions and answers for the knowledge exam, we’ll have them in an expandable tab down below. To complete the swimming test, you’ll need a swimsuit, which is easy enough to obtain, and we’ll add in some addition spawn locations or where they can be bought in an update to this article. Reviving another player in the water is easy enough if you have friends who play the game, but if not, we recommend either finding some people to assist with this requirement on the Fallout 76 Facebook group, or on one of the various Fallout 76 subreddits. If you’re on Xbox, there’s a solid chance one of the members of Agents of Game can help you out as well, feel free to join our Discord to find one of us.
The last three requirements require camera pictures (specifically using the camera, rather than photo mode), and all of them are at Wavy Willard’s Water Park, and we have images below that show more or less what you’re looking for. Just make sure the name of the attraction in question is showing in the upper right-hand corner so it’ll count without you wasting film.
