About a month after Bioware announced they were cancelling the upcoming game Shadow Realms in order to put more resources behindStar Wars: The Old Republic and Mass Effect, another interesting shift has occurred. David Gaider, lead writer for the Dragon Agefranchise, has announced he’s leaving Dragon Age to work on to another project.

Per another tweet, he informed us that Patrick Weekes will take over writing for DA in his absence. Fortunately for fans, he will still be at Bioware, working on a secret (presumably unannounced) project, but he hasn’t given us anything more than some tasty breadcrumbs regarding his new focus.
