Ubisoft has brought in some back up to help with the massively anticipated tactical MMO, The Division. In fact, there isn’t just one studio working on the project. Neither two nor three are enough to prepare the game adequately, but the current count is FOUR studios taking care of different aspects of this gargantuan endeavor.
According to the post, Massive Entertainment (Malmo, Sweden) is taking the lead on the project, along with Red Storm and Reflections (The Crew). Now, Ubisoft is adding Annecy to bring “our previous experience in multiplayer online games” to help (hopefully) make the game all we want it to be. One of the most anticipated titles for this year’s E3 and current generation consoles, The Division is due to be released sometime with in the next year. Ubiblog has the info here.
