The Hearthstone teaser from yesterday is revealed! Magni Bronzebeard is the newest hero to duel in the Hearthstone arena! Just one catch, he’s purely cosmetic.
Blizzard has posted all the new hero information here. What this breaks down to is that now, class skins are available for purchase in Hearthstone. If you love playing warrior, but hate playing as Garrosh, for $9.99 USD, now you don’t have to!
The package replaces Garrosh Hellscream as the warrior class hero portrait. You also get new emotes and a new hero power animation. The hero power and all the class cards are exactly the same however. Finally, it comes with a new card back to show off even if you’re not playing the warrior class.
As the first Hearthstone content not available through in-game gold, I’m personally a little disappointed. However, this is basically like a cosmetic skin from a MOBA title like Heroes of the Storm or League of Legends. As long as it doesn’t give paying players an advantage, I’m OK with it.
