According to an article on PC Gamer, Hearthstone is teasing a new information release for July 22nd. The speculation is leaning toward the Agrent Tournament as a possible expansion.

It seems Blizzard sent out some elaborate scrolls with an announcement for an announcement about new Hearthstone content, coming July 22nd. Be sure to check out the original article for the receiver’s first impressions. He also posted this video about the experience.

The scroll says, “Champions are gathering from around the world to witness the next exciting thing Hearthstone has in store. News travels far and wide in search of brave new faces ready to answer the call to arms — Are you one of them? Muster for battle and mark July 22 on your calendar. The next bit of news won’t come by carrier pigeon — thankfully, we have much better ways of communication now. Victory awaits.”

Again, the implications of this press event are purely speculation, but considering we just got a new mode with Tavern Brawl, and the most recent card content released was the Blackrock Mountain adventure, a new expansion does seem to be a good candidate.
