Ok, so this isn’t really movie news, but it does have moving pictures, so I’m good right? Rick and Morty is hands down my favorite show on Adult Swim and season 2 is finally coming!
If you haven’t had a chance to watch Rick and Morty yet, it’s an animated show about a super-scientist named Rick and his goofy adventures with his grandson Morty. The show has a lot of tongue-in-cheek jokes, very creative stories, and some very emotional family moments.
One of my personal favorites is the end of Episode 6 “Rick Potion #9.” Rick and Morty have destroyed the universe and we’re treated to Summer reciting the famous “Doll’s Eyes” monologue from Jaws. The parents turn to each other and wonder what ever happened Rick and Morty. Then they shrug it of by saying that losing Rick and Morty was the best thing that ever happened to them. I can feel the love.
