Leoric is the next champion coming to fight for supremacy in the Heroes of the Storm Nexus! He is a melee warrior with some great crowd control, and Blizzard released his hero spotlight today.
Leoric’s trait seems to be his most impressive power. Not having to reset to the Nexus and being able to shorten his death timer are some very strong bonuses. If you get a couple enemy heroes in his Entomb heroic ability, that will have a huge impact on a team fight. The trapped enemy’s choices are stand there and die, or run into your team and die. A tough decision to be sure!
Blizzard has confirmed on Twitter that Leoric will not be releasing this week and given the standard “soon” time window for his release. However, this is only The Butcher’s second week in the Nexus, and his in-game gold cost has dropped to 10,000 GP, so it’s a great time to buy him.
