If you like going to parks and swiping away on your phone as much as I do, and if you live anywhere near Crystal Lake, then maybe you should swing by Veteran Acres park Tuesday, July 9th! We’ll be playing plenty of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, as the first global Brilliant Event will be taking place, doing some raids (there’s a fortress and several inns right by the pavilion), and enjoying each other’s company. And if you have younglings, there’s a splash pad right there as well!
While we expect most people to be coming in the evening, we have the place reserved all day, and we are working to line up a few things throughout the day as well. There are outlets at the pavilion, and we’ll be bringing more surge protectors so no one runs out of juice (remember your chargers, though!) Through the generosity of Agents of Game, we’ll be providing non-adult beverages (we didn’t get the alcohol permit, so, yeah), and cooking up some dogs, but if quite a few people show up, just be aware there’s a good chance the free stuff will run out.
